Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team in providing high-quality patient care under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist.

You will help treat patients by following individualized plans of care, participate in developing treatment programs, and document patient progress. Continuous communication with therapists and facility staff is essential to ensure excellent outcomes.

Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) credential required.
• Ability to follow an individualized plan of care developed by an Occupational Therapist.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Help develop and implement treatment programs based on each patient’s needs.
• Document patient conditions and responses after each visit in charts.
• Maintain continuous communication with the treating therapist, director, rehab staff, and facility team.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.

As an Enhance Rehabilitation occupational therapist assistant, working under the guidance of an occupational therapist, you will be a part of growing team. In this role, you’ll assist treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Occupational Therapists.

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
