Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking a qualified occupational therapy assistant to join our dynamic team in Downers Grove, IL. Working under an occupational therapist, you will support treating patients by following a tailored plan of care.

You will help implement treatment programs, assist in all therapy phases, document patient progress, and communicate with the supervising therapist and rehab staff to ensure coordinated care.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
