Job summary

Pine Crest Health and Memory Care in Merrill, WI is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support our Therapy team. You will provide rehabilitative services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, deliver patient-centered care, and help residents regain function after evaluation.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited OTA program, active state license, and prior long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Must hold current and active State license/registration where applicable.
• One year’s experience in long-term care or related setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist by providing rehabilitative therapy to patients following evaluation and plan of care.
• Document objective measures and justify continued or discontinued services.
• Support recovery and improvement in function with a focus on returning to prior levels of functioning.

We are on the hunt for a PRN COTA to join our growing Therapy team!!!

The Occupational Therapist Assistant is responsible for assisting the Occupational Therapist by providing rehabilitative therapy to patients upon completion of the evaluation and plan of care following all regulatory and clinical practice requirements. This includes recovery, improvement in function and when possible, a return to a prior level of functioning. Clinical documentation will describe objective measures and justification for continued or discontinued services.

Pay

$35/hr.

Hours

As needed; must have availability Monday through Sunday

Educational Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
