Job summary

Ensign Services in Harlingen, Texas is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. You will deliver rehabilitative interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to improve patients’ cognitive and physical functioning and daily living skills.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited OTA program and hold a current state license/registration where applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Hold a current and active State license/registration where applicable.
• Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions under supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and assistive devices.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments as required.
