Job summary

Orchard View Post Acute is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Lewiston, Idaho. We offer full-time and PRN opportunities with competitive hourly pay and a supportive therapy team.

The successful candidate will hold Idaho COTA licensure, have completed an accredited OTA program, and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills to aid residents in strengthening mobility and daily living activities.

Qualifications

  • Current Idaho COTA license.
  • Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed OT.
  • Assist residents to improve strength, mobility, coordination, and daily living skills.
  • Follow individualized treatment plans and document progress.
  • Communicate changes in resident condition to the OT.
  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers.
  • Collaborate with nursing and therapy teams.
  • Maintain accurate documentation.
  • Help create a safe, resident-focused therapy environment.
