Job summary

Patewood Post Acute in Greenville, SC is seeking a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. This full-time role focuses on helping residents regain independence and improve quality of life within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Current COTA license in South Carolina (required, in good standing).
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred.
• Knowledge of PointClickCare and Casamba preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy treatments as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Follow physician treatment plans and established care goals.
• Document daily treatments, weekly progress notes, and all required therapy records.
• Communicate patient progress and concerns with the interdisciplinary team.
• Assist with discharge planning and caregiver education.
• Train nursing staff and restorative aides as needed.
• Participate in facility in-service training programs.
• Maintain clean and safe treatment areas and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all state practice acts and regulatory standards.

Position Summary
