Job summary

Linley Park Post Acute in Anderson, SC is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house rehab team. You will work closely with the Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary care team to help residents maximize independence, improve daily function, and reach rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Current South Carolina COTA license in good standing
  • Sensory-based therapy experience required
  • Long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience preferred
  • Experience with PCC and Casamba preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Passion for helping residents achieve meaningful outcomes

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized treatment plans under the direction of the Occupational Therapist
  • Provide skilled therapy interventions focused on activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, safety, and functional independence
  • Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist
  • Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation and progress notes
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, care planning, and rehabilitation conferences
  • Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and safety strategies
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment
  • Support positive resident outcomes and exceptional customer service

Position Summary
