Job summary

Devoted Health is seeking an experienced finance professional to own the full cost picture across markets, products, and legal entities. You will build driver-based models, design allocation methodologies, and deliver actionable profitability analyses to guide leadership.

You will shape new cost-forecasting processes, drive standardization, and work across teams to ensure accurate reporting with a scalable, self-service approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years of finance and/or accounting experience.
• Hands-on cost accounting experience including allocation methodology and cost centers.
• Core FP&A or accounting: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting.
• Advanced financial modeling with large data sets, AI, or BI.
• Understanding of ERP or planning systems; cost allocation model experience from scratch.
• Ability to explain financial results clearly to non-finance audiences.
• Thrives in fast-paced startup environments with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain driver-based models linking membership, staffing, and vendor spend to P&L and cash.
• Architect and scale cost accounting framework across segments and entities.
• Develop business cases, ROI analyses, and transfer pricing inputs; monitor investments against models.
• Deliver market- and product-level profitability analysis to guide margin optimization.
• Direct cost accounting policies, controls, and reporting to drive growth objectives.
• Support intercompany arrangements and reporting for internal and external parties.
• Assist monthly close related to cost, including accruals, allocations, and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize policies and move reporting to scalable tools.
• Educate market, network, and clinical teams with cost performance insights.
• Own audit, examination, and regulatory inquiries as needed.
