Devoted Health in the United States is seeking an experienced finance professional to own cost accounting and driver-based forecasting across markets and legal entities, shaping a new allocation model and cost framework.

You will build models linking membership, staffing, and vendor spend to P&L, deliver profitability analyses, and drive standardization of policy and controls in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years in finance or accounting.
• Hands-on cost accounting including allocation methodologies and cost center design.
• Core FP&A skills: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, reporting.
• Advanced financial modeling with large datasets, AI, or BI tooling.
• Experience with ERP or planning systems and building cost allocation models from scratch.
• Ability to explain results clearly to non-finance stakeholders and challenge assumptions.
• Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities shift.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain driver-based models linking membership, staffing, and vendor spend to P&L and cash.
• Architect and scale cost accounting framework across segments and entities.
• Develop ROI analyses, vendor and build-versus-buy decisions, and manage investments per model.
• Provide product- and market-level profitability analysis to guide margin optimization.
• Own cost accounting policies, controls, and monthly close related to cost.
• Support intercompany cost allocations and transfer pricing inputs.
• Contribute to monthly close with allocations, variances, and management reporting.
• Support cross-functional teams with education and reporting tools for cost performance.
