Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support FP&A activities, forecast accuracy, and strategic decision-making for a high-visibility business unit. You will own monthly forecasting, analyze performance against targets, and build financial models to drive revenue growth and cost optimization.

The role requires 4+ years in FP&A or related fields, strong P&L support, advanced Excel skills, and SAP experience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Financial Analysis experience.
• Strong experience supporting a P&L business unit.
• Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Experience with cost analysis and project cost reduction initiatives.
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis.
• SAP experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve monthly budget-to-actual forecasting across multiple expense categories.
• Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to support business objectives.
• Partner with leaders across the organization to evaluate key performance drivers and planning assumptions.
• Conduct detailed project cost analyses and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Develop financial models to support revenue growth, profitability, and long-term strategic initiatives.
• Prepare monthly forecast reporting, variance analyses, and executive-level insights.
• Utilize SAP and advanced Excel capabilities to analyze and report on financial performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial planning processes and decision-making.
