Job summary

Devoted Health is seeking a senior finance professional to own cost accounting policy, controls, and reporting to drive cost efficiency and growth. You will architect the cost framework across business segments and entities, delivering product and market profitability analyses for leadership.

This role shapes intercompany mechanics, builds driver-based models linking membership growth, staffing, and vendor spend to the P&L, and leads the monthly close for cost with variance analysis.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years in finance/accounting with hands-on cost accounting
• Experience with cost allocation, cost centers, unit/product costing
• Strong FP&A: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, management reporting
• Advanced financial modeling; comfortable with large/imperfect data and BI
• Understanding ERP/planning systems; ability to build cost allocation models from scratch
• Ability to explain financial results clearly to non-finance stakeholders
• Thrives in a fast-paced startup with shifting priorities

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cost accounting policies, controls, and reporting
• Design allocation methodologies across segments and entities
• Deliver profitability analyses by market/product for leadership
• Support intercompany cost allocation, transfer pricing inputs, and reporting
• Build driver-based models linking growth, staffing, and vendor spend to P&L
• Support monthly close for cost: accruals, allocations, variance analysis, and reporting packages
• Drive cost policy/process standardization through technology and self-service tooling
• Educate and support market, network, and clinical teams on cost performance
