Withum is looking for a Cost Segregation Senior Associate to join our Forensic & Valuation Services team. The role supports a hybrid schedule with 3 days in office per week and can be based in numerous U.S. offices, including Orlando, FL.

You will collaborate with engineers, tax professionals, and real estate specialists to deliver engineering-based cost segregation solutions. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in a related field, 3–5 years of cost segregation experience, and strong

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field and professional credentials encouraged.
• Strong understanding of MACRS depreciation rules and cost segregation methodologies.
• Experience with fixed asset records, engineering reports, and building component classifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform cost segregation studies for various real estate assets.
• Review construction cost docs, depreciation schedules, and blueprints.
• Conduct site visits and document asset classifications.
• Prepare engineering-based cost segregation reports meeting IRS guidelines.
• Research depreciation regulations and advise on tax-saving opportunities.
• Mentor staff and support project managers to deliver timely results.
