Job summary

Withum is seeking a Cost Segregation Senior Associate to join our Forensic & Valuation Services team. The role can be based in multiple US offices with a hybrid schedule (3 days in office per week).

You will work with tax professionals, engineers, and real estate specialists to deliver engineering-based cost segregation analyses for diverse properties. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of cost segregation or related experience, a relevant Bachelor's degree, and strong Excel and analytical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate, Architecture, or related field.
• 3–5 years in cost segregation, fixed asset consulting, real estate tax, valuation, engineering, or related field.
• CPA/EA/CCSP/PE or related credentials preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cost segregation studies for various real estate assets.
• Review construction cost docs, depreciation schedules, appraisals, blueprints, and fixed asset records.
• Conduct site visits and document building systems and asset classifications.
• Prepare engineering-based cost segregation reports meeting IRS guidelines.
