Job summary
CNH Industrial is seeking a Cost Optimization Engineer in the United States to drive margin improvement across mechanical, electrical, metallic, and other commodity groups. You will partner with Product Development, Purchasing, Logistics, and Suppliers to screen, track, and implement cost optimization initiatives while promoting idea generation and continuous improvement.
The role requires a degree in a technical field and several years of cross-functional project experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field.
- Minimum 3 years in manufacturing with cross-functional project leadership.
- Experience with cost reduction, supplier negotiations, and VA/VE.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Cost Optimization engineer for multiple commodities, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Identify and prioritize cost-saving opportunities with a forward-looking roadmap.
- Lead ideation, benchmarking, and competitive analysis to drive cost-down strategies.
- Develop analytical cost models to analyze components and support sourcing decisions.
- Support execution of cost reduction projects with Product Development, Purchasing, and Logistics.
- Provide VA/VE leadership with internal and external stakeholders.
