Job summary

CNH Industrial is seeking a Cost Optimization Specialist in electrical to drive margin improvements across electrical components, wire harnesses and related assemblies. You will collaborate with Product Development, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Logistics to screen, track and implement cost optimization projects.

The role requires a bachelor’s in a related engineering field and 9+ years manufacturing experience, plus 3+ years of project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 9+ years of manufacturing experience in roles such as purchasing, design engineering, cost management, quality, or related functions.
• 3+ years of project management experience related to product development.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to read technical drawings, engineering specs and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Cost Optimization lead for Electrical Commodities, identifying, prioritizing, and executing cost reduction initiatives.
• Own a forward-looking project roadmap to support annual purchasing targets.
• Lead ideation, benchmarking activities, workshops and line walks to drive cost-down strategies.
• Develop cost models to analyze components and support sourcing decisions and supplier negotiations.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Purchasing, Logistics and other funcs to ensure timely delivery and measurable impact.
• Provide expertise in value engineering and value analysis to improve cost and performance.
• Challenge designs and materials to optimize cost and quality.
• Work with engineering teams to ensure cost-effective electrical/electronic designs.
