• Participate at initiation phase of new product lines to assist in design for cost effective manufacturing.
• Develop and design workplace layout using motion economy principles.
• Develop, install, and maintain equitable standards.
• Measure variances to standards, investigate causes, and propose solutions.
• Keep division performance within budgeted standards.
• Stay updated on technology trends to implement effective manufacturing methods.
• Maintain records of cost-reducing method changes and budget goals.
• Support labor standards by measuring work content and performance.
