Job summary

Saylor Consulting Group is seeking a Cost Manager / Field Contracts Administrator in San Francisco to oversee subcontract delivery and contract change management for infrastructure projects.

You will work onsite in the Hetch Hetchy region, coordinating with project teams and stakeholders to ensure compliance, manage changes, and maintain contractual records throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires 10+ years of experience, a Bachelor's degree, and CM software proficiency.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction contract change management for infrastructure projects.
• Experience on at least two infrastructure projects valued at $25M+ in the last 15 years.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or relevant discipline.
• Knowledge of construction contract requirements and change management (claims analyses, negotiations, CO cost estimates, time impact analyses).
• 3+ years of CM software experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; onsite in Hetch Hetchy.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction contract change management and contract administration for CM/GC projects.
• Support the resident engineer in contract administration.
• Manage the change process, track changes, and coordinate on change requests.
• Prepare and maintain change orders and contract files.
• Review payment applications for conformance with contracts.
• Respond to RFIs requiring clarifications.
• Assist in closeout activities to meet contractual requirements.
