Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects, LLC is seeking an experienced cost controls accountant for major capital projects in San Francisco. You will manage budgets, forecast expenditures, and deliver integrated financial reporting for complex programs.

You will collaborate with project teams, perform variance analysis, and produce monthly and quarterly reports to support senior leaders. This hybrid role blends remote and onsite work to enable collaboration and delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8 years of accounting/cost controls experience.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting Accenture requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build working relationships with project team to ensure timely, accurate flow of cost information.
• Research and assemble information regarding current cost performances.
• Develop integrated revenue/expense analysis, projections, reports, and presentations.
• Create and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, ensuring financial information is recorded accurately.
• Provide variance reporting and analysis to highlight deviations from project plan.
• Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and present findings to senior management.
• Perform budget, financial forecasting, and reconciliation of internal accounts.
• Maintain management tracking spreadsheets.
• Pull data queries.
• Work location will include a mix of remote, onsite, or Accenture office; some in-person collaboration is expected.
