Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor for the Denver-area team, supporting mission-critical data centers, corporate real estate and infrastructure projects with cost management, project controls and commercial consultancy throughout the lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in cost management or commercial roles within construction, with strong procurement, value management and RSIC principles, and excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in cost management, quantity surveying or commercial management within construction.
• Experience supporting medium to large-scale construction projects, preferably data centers, industrial, healthcare or commercial real estate.
• Strong understanding of procurement strategies, value management, value engineering and commercial risk management.
• Experience preparing estimates, managing change control processes, cost forecasting and final account settlements.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on procurement and commercial strategies, including vendor prequalification, assessment of proposals and contract recommendations.
• Lead estimating services across all project phases by developing project estimates for construction, fees and other costs.
• Review estimates and present cost plans, value engineering recommendations and risk assessments to clients.
• Meet with contractors, suppliers and vendors to review and challenge costs using benchmark data.
• Manage cost reporting, budgets, spend forecasts and risk registers.
