Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Denver, CO is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager and/or Quantity Surveyor to support a large-scale data center program. You will provide cost management, commercial oversight and quantity surveying across major mission-critical projects nationwide.

The ideal candidate has 5-7+ years in construction cost management, strong communication skills, and experience delivering medium to large projects; travel up to 25% and on-site collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, quantity surveying, engineering, cost management, or related field.
• 5-7+ years in construction cost management or related roles.
• Experience delivering medium to large-scale, mission-critical projects.
• RICS accreditation preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain project estimates, cost plans, and budgets.
• Review, evaluate, and negotiate change orders and contractor pricing.
• Support design reviews with cost input and value engineering.
• Monitor cost performance, contingencies, and forecast expenditures.
• Perform quantity surveying and cost control activities.
• Prepare monthly cost reports and funding updates.
• Travel to active project sites as needed (approximately 25%).
• Mentor junior team members and promote best practices.
