Draper in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Cost Estimating Analyst 2 to support government and commercial cost proposals. You will gather estimates, price solicitations, and work with Engineering, Procurement, and Contracts teams to produce accurate bid packages.

Requirements include a BA/BS in business, accounting, or related field, 3–5 years of cost estimating experience, and the ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance. Base salary ranges reflect US locations and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in cost estimating or related experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret government security clearance.

Responsabilités

• Analyzes, evaluates, coordinates, prepares, and supports cost proposals to government and commercial customers.
• Coordinates the collection and accumulation of cost input from cross-functional departments.
• Supports consolidation and pressure-testing of basis of estimates (BoEs) across all cost elements for accuracy and completeness.
• Develops cost models to support proposal efforts and determine the accuracy of functional estimates.
• Evaluates BOMs and ensures quotes are recent.
• Ensures adherence to FAR, TINA, and internal policies and procedures.
