Job summary

Draper, an independent nonprofit research and development company in Cambridge, MA, seeks a Cost Estimating Analyst 2 to support estimating and pricing activities. The role reports to the Estimating and Pricing lead and collaborates with Engineering, Procurement, Program Management and Contracts.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance and 3–5 years of cost estimating experience, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in Cost Estimating or related field.
• Applicants selected will be required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, evaluates, coordinates, prepares, and supports cost proposals to government and commercial customers.
• Coordinates collection of cost input from cross-functional departments.
• Supports consolidation and testing of basis of estimates (BoEs) across all cost elements for accuracy and completeness.
• Develops cost models to support proposal efforts and assess accuracy of estimates.
• Ensures compliance with FAR, TINA, and internal policies for estimating and cost proposal preparation.
