Qualifications

• Experience: General Estimator 5 years in construction estimation.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, able to present estimates to teams and stakeholders.
• Analytical: Detail-oriented with strong analytical/problem-solving abilities.
• Software: Proficient in estimating software and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze blueprints, specifications, and client docs to prepare estimates.
• Collaborate with project leads to develop estimates within the scope package.
• Prepare detailed estimates for new projects and change orders, meeting deadlines.
• Estimate shop labor, materials, buyout items, and equipment costs for bids.
• Read bid instructions and prepare material take-offs and price estimates (including equipment).
• Coordinate with Sales and Pre-construction teams to understand project size, scope, and timelines.
• Offer value engineering or alternative estimates when requested by management.
• Prepare pricing estimates and summarize results for leadership.
