Winco Windows is currently looking to hire a full-time Quotation Specialist/Cost Estimator. The successful applicant will be able to: Receive and review Requests for Quotes received from Sales Rep. Produce an accurate and timely Quote. Work with Internal and External sources to obtain missing information. Meet deadlines and stay focused on multiple jobs in a fast-paced work environment. Have the ability to clearly communicate with co-workers and sales representatives to resolve issues. Ensure any changes are documented and proper signatures are obtained. Ensure all job information is received and entered into the system accurately. Other duties as directed by the Estimating Manager. Requirements: Good math aptitude. Detail-oriented. Computer literate in a windows based environment (Outlook, Excel, Word). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills, need to work on and track multiple jobs in a fast-paced work environment. Be able to effectively work with both internal and external contacts. Able to work independently as well as be a team player. Positive attitude. Knowledge and Skills: Ability to read architectural drawings, blueprints, or take-offs. Window or construction experience is a plus. Associate’s degree preferred or related work experience. Customer service experience is a plus. Education: Associate’s degree preferred or related work experience. Physical Demands : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle and talk, and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop or crouch. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Non-Exempt with no supervisory responsibility. Hours of work and days are Monday through Friday 8 hours per day. Overtime as needed. Working Conditions: This position is an office position with no travel or fieldwork. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory duties.
