RIB U.S. COST seeks Construction Cost Estimators to join our team, providing conceptual through definitive estimates. As a leader in project controls services across all construction industry sectors, we set new standards in project delivery by applying innovative methods and technology for value-added results.

Position: Cost Estimator

Employment type: Full-time, 5 days onsite

Location: Fort Worth, Dallas, TX

Job Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with a team of qualified estimators for capital cost estimating.
2. Resolve complex estimating problems, reconcile with contractors, and analyze estimate submissions.
3. Adhere to policies on handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
4. Prepare material takeoffs for complex projects, drawings, and plans.
5. Review and verify accuracy of takeoffs provided by others.
6. Perform QA/QC on complete estimates.
7. Break down components and elements of estimates for systems and subsystems.
8. Assign costs to materials, equipment, subsystems, subcontractors, and labor; obtain quotes from vendors.
9. Develop cost estimates for projects from concept to final stages, including change orders.
10. Participate in client review and presentation meetings.
11. Support energy and sustainability analysis development.
12. Perform additional related responsibilities as needed.

Required Skills

1. Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field.
2. Experience in construction estimating.
3. Experience with mechanical, electrical, or civil disciplines preferred.
4. Ability to perform complex estimating activities typical in the A/E/C industry.
5. Excellent communication skills and familiarity with estimating software.
6. Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft 365.
7. Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
8. Experience with large infrastructure, building, or aviation projects required.
