Sunland Group, Inc. is seeking a Cost Estimator for immediate placement in our Houston, TX office. The Cost Estimator will be responsible for providing detailed construction cost estimates based on conceptual documents as well as schematic, design development, and construction documents. The Estimator will collaborate with other estimating disciplines, project team members, and owner representatives.

Requirements:

• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a cooperative attitude
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Responsible, ethical, and conscientious nature
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills
• 3-10 years of construction estimating experience
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications across various disciplines
• Good knowledge of construction techniques and production rates
• Ability to estimate costs from conceptual to construction documents
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferences:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architectural, Construction Management, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Field experience may substitute for educational requirements
