Job summary

Ryan Companies has an immediate need for a Project Engineer (Cost Management) for its Mission Critical operation in Atlanta, Georgia. The Project Engineer will assist the project team in the completion of designated projects with a cost management focus, and an emphasis on learning Ryan processes, procedures and business policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field is required.
• Knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing is essential.
• Must be able to perform mathematical calculations and understand drawings, PO, contracts, and cost-coding systems.
• Able to take responsibility and communicate effectively with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring job costs and cost control activities.
• Support cost project managers in budget management and cost projections.
• Assist with change management, subcontract review, and pay applications.
• Participate in project close-out duties including reconciliations.
• Attend owner/client presentations and participate in project walks.
• Gain knowledge of overall construction processes within the team.
