Job summary

7-Eleven in Irving, TX seeks a Cost Support Analyst to support vendor funding setup, accounting, and analysis. You will partner with Merchandising and Accounting to ensure accurate reflections in systems and timely resolution of discrepancies.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, with strong Excel, Power BI, SQL, and ERP skills, in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Working knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with large datasets.
• Proficient in Excel, Power BI, and SQL; familiarity with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Review vendor cost support and rebate agreements for accurate setup and accounting.
• Analyze and reconcile vendor rebates, allowances, and accruals.
• Generate reports to support management decisions and month-end close.
• Identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Collaborate with Merchandising and Accounting to resolve issues.
