Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Finance Director to lead cost analytics for its data center build portfolio. You will own the financial view of project cost performance, establish benchmarks, forecasting methods, and actionable leadership reporting.

This role builds a cost intelligence capability to optimize capital deployment and project economics. The position requires 8+ years in construction finance or related fields, with experience managing large capital budgets and cross-functional collaboration with

Qualifications

• 8+ years in construction finance, project controls, capital projects accounting, or project finance.
• Experience managing large capital projects (typically $100M+).
• Familiarity with loan agreements, draw/funding mechanics, and lender requirements.
• Experience with GC/EPC contracts and change order management.
• Experience in live facilities cost performance and operating budgets.

Responsibilities

• Develop a consistent cost taxonomy and framework across data center builds.
• Own the financial framework for Estimate at Completion (EAC).
• Analyze cost variance and root causes across projects.
• Build cost intelligence to guide capital deployment decisions.
• Improve early-stage project estimates with feedback loops.
• Create portfolio-level cost performance visibility for leadership.
• Translate EACs into capital and cash forecasts.
• Provide financial analysis for design changes, procurement, and schedule decisions.
• Define data sources and reporting architecture for cost analytics.
