Border States, a 100% employee-owned electrical distributor, is seeking a Cost Analyst based in Fargo, ND with a remote work opportunity. The role focuses on cost management, SPA rationalization, and strategic pricing to strengthen market competitiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• No minimum years required; relevant procurement, pricing, or supply chain experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SAP MM and forecasting is preferred.
• APICS certification or equivalent supply-chain knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze cost categories and vendor pricing to determine market competitiveness.
• Collaborate with branches and stakeholders to gather market insights.
• Evaluate market conditions and align vendor/category strategies.
• Support cost-savings opportunities through analytics and negotiations.
• Document cost savings and present findings to stakeholders.
