Job summary

Qualus is seeking a Cost Analyst in the Program Management department to assemble and provide project cost data, forecasts, and trends to Project Managers and Operations Management. You will coordinate information from field operations and accounting systems to support timely, accurate reporting and decision-making.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in project controls, including cash flow forecasting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; accounting or business administration preferred.
  • 7+ years of project controls experience including cash flow forecasting and analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Word and Excel; ability to prepare clear written communications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and review cost forecasts, accruals, and budgets across projects.
  • Analyze actual job cost data from accounting systems and prepare forecasting workbooks.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to review change orders and support scope changes.
  • Assist in project budget setup and earned value structure development at initiation.
  • Communicate data trends clearly to Project and Operations Management.
  • Support Stage Gate Process with rigorous evaluations of deliverables.
