Job summary

Global Crossing Airlines in Miami, FL is seeking a Cost Analyst to support invoice processing and month-end close tasks. The role focuses on coding invoices, performing variance analysis with department managers, and coordinating payments with Accounts Payable.

You will develop systems for billing back charges, prepare fuel reconciliations, work with vendors on documentation, and propose procedural improvements to reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance or related field.
• 2-4 years related experience.
• Experience working with public reporting companies.
• Experience with Sage Intaact and iPayables/Invoiceworks software preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop/maintain invoice account coding process for all invoices.
• Assist with monthly variance analysis with departmental managers for the operating budget.
• Coordinate payments with Accounts Payable to maintain credit standing with vendors.
• Calculate and organize prepayments for short notice and as needed charters.
• Prepare customer fuel reconciliations.
• Develop/maintain system for billing back charges to customers.
• Work closely with vendors to obtain and verify all invoice supporting documentation.
• Recommend changes in operating procedures for cost containment.
• Provide analytical support for departmental projects as required.
• Develop and improve systems and procedures as needed.
