Qualifications

Job Details

Responsibilities

• Leading the cost accounting function including the development and maintenance of standard costs, bill of materials, and cost analysis.
• Preparing and analyzing weekly and monthly financial reports, including variance analysis, margin analysis, and costing reports.
• Overseeing inventory accounting, ensuring accurate valuation, and implementing robust inventory controls.
• Conducting regular forecasts and budgeting exercises, identifying trends and variances, and presenting findings to senior management.
• Ensuring compliance with GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
• Leveraging SAP and Power BI to automate processes and generate insightful financial reports.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive cost efficiencies and improve profitability.
• Participating in special projects and performing ad hoc analyses as required.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or CMA designation is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting within the manufacturing industry, ideally within the food and beverage sector.
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
• Proficiency in SAP and Power BI.
• Proven experience in preparing weekly and monthly financial reports and forecasts.
• Strong understanding of accounting inventory controls.
• Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate risks.
• Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing a team and driving performance.
