Jobot partners with a growing manufacturer to fill a Senior Cost Accountant role at a key production site in the United States. You’ll own cost visibility, drive profitability, and partner with operations leadership to turn numbers into actionable decisions.

You’ll lead month-end close, analyze variances, build cost models, and support budgeting and forecasting with strong financial modeling. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a plant environment and wants to influence cost

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in cost accounting or manufacturing finance
• Hands-on ownership of month-end close and variance analysis
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience in a plant/production environment

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close process for a manufacturing site, ensuring accurate reporting of materials, labor, and overhead
• Analyze variances (PPV, material, labor, overhead) and drive real solutions
• Partner with operations, procurement, and leadership to identify cost savings and efficiency gains
• Improve costing structures, standards, and assumptions
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning with financial modeling
• Provide insights through cost analysis, CapEx evaluation, and profitability metrics
• Build and maintain cost models, pricing inputs, and operational metrics
• Drive continuous improvement across financial processes and reporting

Are you someone who can break down complex numbers and turn them into real business decisions? We’re partnered with a growing manufacturer looking for a Senior Cost Accountant to take ownership of cost visibility and financial performance at a key production site.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Own the month-end close process for a manufacturing site, ensuring accurate reporting across materials, labor, and overhead

What They’re Looking For:

• 5–10 years in cost accounting or manufacturing finance
• Strong experience in a plant or production environment
• Hands-on ownership of month-end close and variance analysis
• ERP system experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Someone who can work independently but also influence across teams
