GreyStone Power Corporation is seeking an accounting professional to manage month-end closings, board reporting, and annual filings. The role supports the general ledger, property records, and work order controls for RUS loan compliance.

Collaborate with Operations and Engineering, maintain property records, and interface with external auditors. Requires strong analytical skills, confidentiality, and experience in a cooperative environment.

Formación

• Four-year degree in business or accounting, or five years of electric cooperative experience.
• Complete the RUS accounting course and stay current on RUS bulletins and GAAP/ auditing standards.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook and Word; ability to create and manage Excel reports.
• Experience with Power BI and Monday.com.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with monthly general ledger closings and audit schedules.
• Prepare operating reports for internal personnel and external agencies (board reports, Form 990, etc.).
• Close work orders; prepare inventory for RUS loan purposes and permanent records.
• Compare work orders to the construction work plan and track line miles/ services added or retired.
• Collaborate with Operations and Engineering on monthly work order reports and cost analyses.
• Maintain continuing property records, work order plant listings, and material inventory.
• Interface with external agencies/auditors for audits and compliance.
• Perform inventory counts and provide backup for Accounting team functions.
