Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Cost Accountant to support the Energy & Communications business. You will own BOM integrity, standard costing, and inventory valuation, collaborating with plant leadership to drive cost control and insightful reporting.

This full-time role requires 3+ years in cost accounting, ERP experience (SAP preferred), advanced Excel, and strong analytical skills. Periodic travel to manufacturing sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of cost accounting or manufacturing finance experience.
• Strong experience with standard costing, BOMs, inventory accounting, and variances.
• ERP experience required; SAP preferred.
• Advanced Excel; SQL/MS Query/VBA a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Own product costing and BOM integrity across manufacturing locations.
• Maintain moving average cost methodology for inventory valuation.
• Establish standard labor and overhead rates with plant leadership.
• Analyze variances and identify root causes and improvements.
• Support inventory controls, cycle counts, and valuation.
• Ensure timely cost reporting and close processes.
• Drive cost accounting process improvements for a multi-site environment.
