Job summary

CFS is seeking a dedicated cost accountant for our Mendota Heights, MN operations. You will work closely with leadership to manage BOMs, inventory adjustments, and manufacturing cost reporting within NetSuite.

The role offers hybrid scheduling after onboarding, exposure to NetSuite, and opportunities to advance into Senior Accountant roles as the company grows. A strong focus on process improvements will be part of your day-to-day responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Experience with month-end accounting processes and reconciliations.
• Exposure to ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Candidates with manufacturing accounting backgrounds strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) within NetSuite.
• Perform inventory analysis, adjustments, and reconciliations.
• Support cost accounting activities for manufacturing operations.
• Assist with month-end close and related accounting processes.
• Help identify process improvement opportunities within costing and inventory functions.
• Partner with accounting, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
