Qualifications

• Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables and lookup functions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain standard costs and analyze production variances for cost control.
• Oversee inventory valuation, cycle counts, and asset tracking.
• Support budgeting and AOP processes; assist in monthly/quarterly reporting packages.
• Manage fixed asset lifecycle and facility-related cost tracking.
• Oversee cash management activities including AP/AR aspects and vendor reconciliation.
• Ensure GAAP-compliant accounting and alignment with policies.

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Cost Accountant with a strong background in Cost Accounting and Inventory Management to join our growing finance team. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy of our manufacturing/production costs, maintaining the integrity of our fixed asset ledger, and managing complex inventory schedules. As a NetSuite user, you will leverage the system to drive reporting accuracy and process efficiency. You will be a key player in budgeting, Annual Operating Plan (AOP) creation, and driving "floor-to-report" KPIs to ensure operational transparency.

Key Responsibilities

• Cost & Inventory Control: Maintain standard costs, analyze production variances, and oversee valuation and cycle count schedules.
• Operational Oversight: Drive "floor-to-report" KPIs; ensure physical operations are accurately reflected in financial reporting.
• Financial Planning: Assist in the creation of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and departmental budgets.
• Full Cycle Asset Management: Manage the fixed asset lifecycle and facility-related cost tracking.
• Treasury & Cash Management: Prepare weekly cash flow projections and oversee the AP/AR function (including vendor reconciliation, payment processing, and collections).
• Compliance & Reporting: Support payroll accounting, intercompany reconciliations, and the preparation of monthly/quarterly reporting packages.
• General Ledger Accounting: Ensure GAAP compliant accounting and alignment with corporate policies.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: 3–5+ years in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Systems: NetSuite and DataNinja experience is highly preferred (Inventory, Fixed Asset, and Costing modules).
• Excel: Advanced (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs, data modeling).
