Job summary

FPC Peachtree is seeking a collaborative Cost Accountant to join our expanding Finance team. This role partners with manufacturing and operations to drive product costing, capital investment analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives that improve plant performance and profitability.

You will develop standard costs, analyze variances, support monthly close, and build dashboards to monitor plant KPIs, while ensuring accurate costing and effective communication with non-financial partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, or financial analysis
• Experience developing standard costs and analyzing manufacturing variances; ERP experience preferred
• Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookups, and financial modeling
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial business partners

• Assist with select accounts payable functions, ensuring manufacturing and capital expenditures are accurately coded and approved
