Job summary

We've partnered with an industry leader looking to add an experienced Senior Accountant to its team. This role owns product costing, inventory valuation, variance analysis, and cost control processes that support operational decision-making. The ideal candidate combines a technical accounting background with hands-on manufacturing costing experience and has worked in environments that value cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience within a manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of standard costing, variance analysis, BOMs, routings, and inventory valuation methods
• Hands-on experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis); experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP)
• Solid understanding of GAAP as it applies to inventory and cost accounting
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
