Job summary

Henkel is hiring a Safety Health Environmental (SHE) Manager R&D in the United States. You will oversee toxicology reviews for cosmetics, collaborating with Product Development, Regulatory Affairs, and Consumer Technical Insights from ingredient selection through product launch and post-market stewardship.

You will represent Henkel in external toxicology societies and apply advanced risk assessment tools to drive consumer safety and product innovation.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master in Toxicology required or preferred.
• Regulatory knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to communicate complex toxicology concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Strong collaboration across geographies and teams.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and scientific methodology.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety and toxicology reviews for Henkel consumer products with a focus on cosmetics.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Regulatory Affairs and Consumer Technical Insights through product lifecycle.
• Serve as liaison for regulatory affairs with external bodies and consultants.
• Apply Next Generation Risk Assessment principles to risk assessment practices.
• Represent Henkel in external toxicology and industry groups; advance scientific methods.
