Job summary

Estée Lauder Companies is seeking a Toxicology professional to support consumer safety for new products and legacy formulas. You will review reports, manage data, conduct literature searches, and write assessments while coordinating with PSRA and NBE teams.

Candidates should have a toxicology degree (MS/PhD preferred), 2+ years in cosmetics safety, and strong data management and writing skills. Some off-hours may be needed due to time-zone differences.

Qualifications

• B.S. in toxicology or in a related discipline; Masters or Ph.D. preferred.
• 2+ year of cosmetic safety experience desired.
• DABT, ERT or DCST certification is a plus.
• Degree in Toxicology, Pharmacology, or health and science fields, and familiarity with cosmetics or personal care products is preferred.
• Strong English communications skills (written and spoken) are crucial.
• Microsoft Office, Statistical analysis skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safety data intake, sorting and tracking.
• Keep Senior PS&T management informed of integration project progress.
• Provide clear and frequent status updates to project toxicologist to ensure on track.
• Be assigned several projects of different degrees of complexity which will include research, literature searching, recording data and interpreting results, and writing reports.
• Work independently with a minimum amount of supervision with decision making skills that enable completion of ingredient and formula reviews with a minimum of supervision.
• Collaborate with Product Safety and Regulatory Affairs (PSRA) group, formulation scientists and New Brand Empowerment (NBE) teams on data requirements and communicate safety positions.
