Job summary

L&R is the largest distributor of cosmetics in the United States, seeking a Field Merchandiser to service retail stores in the West, Central, and East Coast regions. The role requires merchandising expertise, store resets, and strong communication with store staff.

Territories include Montrose, CO and nearby Colorado locations. Up to 20–30 hours weekly with potential to transition to full-time after 60 days if performance meets 30+ hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising or retail.
• Familiarity with resets and planograms.
• Retail sales and inventory control knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
• Proficient with tablets and smartphones.

Responsibilities

• Place orders for inventory using a tablet and scanner (Repsly).
• Service store routes per call frequencies with District Manager.
• Follow store visit processes and document tasks with photos.
• Implement planograms and resets to match instructions.
• Ensure displays meet standards and timelines.
• Install shelving and fixtures as needed for planograms.
• Process returns following company guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of promotions, invoicing, exchanges, and returns.
• Communicate with store staff during visits.
• Verify shipments and assist in stock maintenance.
