Job summary

B&R Products LLC. is seeking a Chemist II to develop and execute new product formulations and enhancements in haircare, skincare, and color cosmetics.

You will prepare laboratory prototypes, ensure cGLP and cGMP compliance, and support manufacturing and quality control as needed. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field and 5+ years of cosmetics lab experience with strong knowledge of ingredients and processing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years laboratory experience in cosmetics or personal care products; batching experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cosmetic ingredients, formulation techniques, and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of cGMP, GDP, FDA 21 CFR and ISO 22716.

Responsibilities

• Formulate new products and improve existing formulations for haircare, skincare, and color cosmetics.
• Prepare batches and prototypes for customer submission, stability, safety, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with marketing, regulatory, and QA/QC for documentation and formula proposals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory space; ensure proper safety practices.
