Job summary

Bright Innovation Laboratories is seeking a chemist for hands‑on product development in cosmetics. The role focuses on creating and refining formulas, benchmarking trends, and translating customer briefs into compliant formulations.

You will reverse‑engineer products, test materials, and work with QC, QA, and production to ensure quality and regulatory alignment on new and existing formulas.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in Chemistry or related science.
• Minimum of 3 years laboratory experience.
• Experience in product development (innovation) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop innovative cosmetic products based on current industry trends, benchmark products, customer brief or other product concepts.
• Reverse-engineer current marketed products.
• Create formulas for new products submissions.
• Assist in testing and approval of raw materials, finished and in-process, adjustments & line samples.
• Interface with QC Laboratory, Quality Assurance, Customer Service, Production to ensure top-quality finished goods.
