Job summary

Bright Innovation Laboratories in the United States seeks a chemist to create and improve cosmetic formulations, benchmark products, and translate customer briefs into compliant formulas suitable for manufacturing.

You will reverse-engineer products, test materials, and collaborate with QC, QA, Production, and suppliers. A chemistry degree and at least 3 years of lab experience are required, with willingness to work standard hours and some overtime.

Qualifications

• Requires a Chemistry degree and at least 3 years of laboratory experience.
• Preferred experience in cosmetic product development and formulation.
• English language proficiency and strong communication skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop innovative cosmetic products based on trends and briefs.
• Reverse-engineer current marketed products.
• Create formulas for new product submissions.
• Test and approve raw materials and finished products.
• Collaborate with QC, QA, Customer Service, Production teams as needed.
• Scale up formulas and troubleshoot production issues.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP and safety standards.
