L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty in Clark, NJ is seeking a Senior Chemist II to develop innovative skincare formulations and textures for global markets. You will collaborate with R&I teams, external partners, and internal stakeholders to bring new formulas to life, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in science and 5–7+ years of hands-on formulation research experience, with a passion for consumer-focused skincare innovation and rapid
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- 5–7+ years of hands-on formulation R&D experience.
- Strong formulation expertise across diverse galenic forms with attention to quality, safety, microbiology, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Develop innovative skincare products across diverse galenic forms.
- Collaborate with global R&I teams, business stakeholders, and external partners.
- Design and implement comprehensive research and testing strategies.
- Own multiple projects with timelines and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
- Build cross-functional relationships to align formulation decisions across teams.
- Incorporate market trends and consumer insights into formulation strategy.
