Job summary

L&R Distributors, Inc. is seeking a Field Merchandiser to service retail stores across Charlottesville, VA and nearby areas. This part-time to full-time role covers stocking, organizing, and displaying products, assisting with store resets, and ensuring displays meet brand standards.

Terrain includes up to 40 hours weekly with travel across multiple states as needed. The position emphasizes merchandising accuracy, use of a company tablet and Repsly software, and professional communication

Qualifications

• Prior merchandising or retail experience is required.
• Familiarity with resets and planograms is a plus.
• Retail sales and inventory control knowledge is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work.
• Proficient with tablets and smartphones.

Responsibilities

• Place orders for inventory using a tablet and scanner (Repsly).
• Service store routes per call frequency with the District Manager.
• Execute planograms and resets for cosmetics displays and fixtures.
• Ensure all resets meet standards and timelines.
• Install shelving and fixtures per planograms; manage returns per guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with store staff and management.
• Verify shipments and keep store records up to date.
• Capture photos and complete task forms during visits.
