Job summary

L&R Distributors in Indiana is seeking a Field Merchandiser to service retail stores and execute resets, planograms, and shelf displays.

You will work 6 AM–5 PM windows, up to 25 hours weekly, with potential to move to full-time after 60 days; pay is $15.00 per hour plus mileage/toll reimbursement; benefits available for full-time.

Candidates should have merchandising or retail experience, be comfortable with tablets, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience.
• Familiarity with resets, planograms and store footage is a plus.
• Retail sales and inventory control knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to safely use a ladder or step stool to access higher fixtures, signage, and products on elevated shelves.
• Ability to conduct physical work, frequently lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient with tablets and smartphones.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Place orders for required inventory using a company tablet and scanner (Repsly).
• Service store routes according to the assigned call frequencies.
• Follow store visit process including merchandising delivery from previous order and photographing as needed.
• Implement planograms and schematics to reset displays according to instructions.
• Ensure resets meet standards and timelines.
• Install and adjust shelving, hooks, and fixtures per planograms.
• Process customer returns per guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of promotions, invoicing, exchanges, and returns.
• Communicate with Store Associates at each visit.
• Verify merchandise shipments with store personnel.
• Conduct store surveys and audits as requested.
