Job summary

L&R Distributors, Inc. is seeking Field Merchandisers to service retail stores across the Nashville region, including nearby cities.

The role involves stocking, organizing, and displaying cosmetics and related items, with responsibilities for executing planograms and store resets using provided tablet and scanner tools. The position offers part-time hours with potential to transition to full-time after meeting weekly hours, plus mileage reimbursement, paid drive time, and a benefits package

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience.
• Familiarity with resets, planograms and store footage is a plus.
• Retail sales and inventory control knowledge are a plus.
• Ability to safely use a ladder or step stool to access higher fixtures, signage, and products on elevated shelves.
• Proficient with tablets and smartphones.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Place orders for inventory using a tablet and scanner.
• Service store routes according to assigned call frequencies with District Manager.
• Follow store visit process, merchandise delivery, and take photos to maintain stock levels.
• Accurately implement planograms and schematics to reset displays and fixtures.
• Ensure resets meet L&R’s standards and timelines.
• Install and adjust shelving, hooks, and fixtures per planograms.
• Process customer returns per guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of promotions, invoicing, and returns.
• Communicate with Store Associates after each visit.
• Verify merchandise shipments and check in by store personnel.
• Provide professional communication with Store Management.
• Keep display cases clean and organized.
• Conduct store surveys and audits with photos.
